Diwali!

Today celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights, alongside Bonfire Night at nursery!

The children had a wonderful opportunity to explore and enjoy these special celebrations through a range of fun, cultural and creative activities.

To make the day extra special, children were invited to come dressed in something sparkly, colourful or traditional.

Throughout the day, the children enjoyed.
Traditional Dancing: The children joined in traditional dancing, led by Jeetal, and experienced the music, movements, and joy of Diwali.

Traditional Food Tasting: The children had the opportunity to explore and taste some traditional foods (with parental permission).

Mehndi Patterns with Face Paint: The children explored beautiful traditional Mehndi (henna) patterns using face paint, creating colourful designs inspired by Diwali celebrations!
Special Diwali Menu: We will also indulge in a special Diwali-inspired menu.

Chocolate-covered apples: We decorated our very own chocolate-covered apples

Happy Diwali!
